Karl Wolfgang named NJCAA Men's Basketball Player of the Week
Haverhill, MA (11/30/2023) — Northern Essex Community College freshman center Karl Wolfgang (Douala, Cameroon) has been named the NJCAA Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the week ending November 26th.
Wolfgang who helped lead the Knights to a pair of wins in the 2nd annual NECC Turkey Classic over the holiday weekend averaged a double-double in wins over SUNY Adirondack and Suffolk County Community College on his way to being named to the All-Tournament team.
On Saturday he recorded 17 points with nine rebounds and three blocked shots and came back on Sunday with 13 points and 16 rebounds two steals and one block.
